2. Description of Service

Jidotachi is an automated rhythm game score synchronization service that:

• Connects to third-party rhythm game services using your provided credentials
• Retrieves your game scores and play data
• Uploads your scores to Kamaitachi or other configured services
• Provides scheduled automatic synchronization

3. User Accounts

To use Jidotachi, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Provide a valid email address
• Create a secure password
• Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. API Keys and Third-Party Services

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for obtaining and providing your own API keys for third-party services
• You must comply with the terms of service of all connected third-party services (SEGA, Kamaitachi, etc.)
• We are not responsible for any actions taken by third-party services based on data we sync
• You grant us permission to access these services on your behalf using your provided credentials
• You may revoke this permission at any time by deleting your API keys or account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated means to access the service except through our provided interface
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Violate the terms of service of any connected third-party service

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates
• We may modify or discontinue features at any time without prior notice
• Third-party service outages may affect our ability to sync your data

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of Jidotachi is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Jidotachi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for loss of data, scores, or game progress
• We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party services
• We are not liable for any issues arising from incorrect or expired API keys
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jidotachi, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights or terms of service
• Your provided API keys or credentials

10. Intellectual Property

The Jidotachi service, including its code, design, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our code or content
• Reverse engineer the service
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

11. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms
• Refuse service to anyone for any reason
• Discontinue the service at any time

You may terminate your account at any time using the "Delete Account" feature in your account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Disclaimer Regarding Game Services

Jidotachi is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SEGA, Kamaitachi, or any other rhythm game service or company. All trademarks and service marks are the property of their respective owners.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is located. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jidotachi regarding the use of the service.
